- Water Usage Instructions 1. This machine can only use municipal tap water, groundwater and well water are not permitted. 2. A pre-filtration system is required for the source water. If the water is too hard, an anti-scaling filter cartridge is needed, otherwise, scale will quickly form and prevent water from flowing. 3. An RO water purifier cannot be used as the pre-filtration system for this water electrolyzer. Installing an RO system will result in no conductivity. Alternatively, ensure that the TDS at the inlet water is greater than 50. 4. The machine will only start normally if the water flow rate is greater than 0.8 L/min.
